Welcome to Delta Aquatic Club

Delta Aquatic Club was founded in 1974 to provide quality instruction and encourage a lifetime love of swimming for children in the Mississippi Delta.  DAC is a parent-run club governed by a Board of Directors that is elected every August.  The Board meets monthly and sets policies for DAC and works with the Head Coach to schedule meets, organize events, etc.

Delta Aquatic Club is affiliated with USA Swimming, the governing body of competitive swimming in the US .  Membership in DAC allows a child the opportunity to exercise and improve their swim strokes in a non-threatening, fun, friendly environment.  DAC also competes in meets throughout the Southeast for those who want to take it to the next level.  For more information about joining, please click the Join DAC tab above or email Coach Dan’l Murray at deltacoachdanl@yahoo.com .

“It is tribute to these swimmers dedication and commitment to this sport that so many records were broken at this meet.  It demonstrates the overall strength of our Delta Aquatic Club team and creates a strong future for our team as they continue to train and strive for greater accomplishments,” comments Murray.

Kevin Cox, President of the Delta Aquatic Club Board, states, "The Delta Aquatic Club has more than 200 swimmers in the Club this year, and many of them are first-time swimmers, which is exciting for me to see the Club grow with new, enthusiastic children.  Now is the perfect time to join the sport of swimming as Long Course Registration is scheduled for Monday, March 8 and Tuesday, March 9 from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm at the DSU Aquatic Center Lobby.  Any family interested in gaining additional information can log onto our website at www.deltaducks.org or call Head Coach Dan’l Murray at 662-588-3263.”
